Step Three at Work

·

As much as I like to think otherwise, ultimately, whether I have a job or not is not even up to me. I can’t control the economic tides; I can’t control what jobs are available, or even how I’m perceived at the job I have. I can’t control a lot of things. But I can change the things I can and leave the outcome to a Higher Power.

If I need a job, I can search and apply for the jobs available. If I have a job, I can do my best at it. When I’ve done those things, I can let go of the outcome. I don’t need to figure everything out.

Today I choose to do my part by taking the actions that are available to me, and at the end of the day I will ask for God’s will to be done in my efforts.
