I think I know what other people are thinking. But I really don’t.
I think I know that my co-workers are talking about me. I think I know my boss is about to call me into his office and call me out on something. I think I know that the company is tanking, or that I’m working harder than everyone else. But I really don’t know any of that. In fact, the opposite could be true.
Today, I will consider the “Set Aside Prayer” as a way to restructure my thinking: God, help me to set aside everything I think I know about my work. Help me have an open mind so that I might have a new experience. There’s a lot I don’t know about what might happen, and today I will practice allowing the possibility that good things may come.
